Operations Overview

The Operations menu in the top navigation bar provides the day-to-day views used by operators, supervisors, and engineers to monitor production and manage downtime data. Click Operations to expand the menu and access any of the following pages.

The live shift dashboard. Select a line to see the current shift’s performance, recent alarms, and a full list of downtime events. Operators use this page to categorise downtime as it occurs and to add shift notes or handover messages for the next shift.

A searchable, filterable list of all shift log entries across all lines and shifts. Useful for supervisors who want to review notes written by operators during previous shifts, or to search for specific entries by log type or content.

A tabular list of every shift that has been generated by the system. Each row shows the line, shift name, start and end times, and key metrics (product count, OEE components, duration running/stopped/slow running). Use this page to browse historical shifts or to look up a specific shift’s details.

A complete record of all downtime events recorded across all lines. Each event shows its start time, duration, line, category, and cause. This is the primary place to review and retrospectively categorise downtime events that were not categorised during the shift.

A history of all downtime notification emails that have been sent. Each entry records which line triggered the notification, the downtime duration, and when the email was dispatched. Downtime notifications are configured per-line in the hierarchy editor under the line’s Downtime Notifications settings.
