Dashboards Overview
What is a dashboard?
Section titled “What is a dashboard?”A dashboard is a visual display that brings together one or more charts, gauges, or data tables on a single screen. Dashboards are the primary way you interact with data from your connected equipment.
Each dashboard can show:
- Live data — values updated in real-time as new readings arrive.
- Historical data — trends and patterns over a selected time window.
- Mixed views — some panels showing live data alongside historical trend charts.
Finding dashboards
Section titled “Finding dashboards”Clicking the Dashboards item in the navigation bar opens the dashboard list. Here you can filter and sort dashboards to find the one you need.
You can also use the search bar (🔍) in the top navigation to quickly find a dashboard by name.
Favourites
Section titled “Favourites”Click the ★ star icon next to a dashboard name to mark it as a favourite. Your favourites appear at the top of the dashboard list for quick access.
Sharing a dashboard
Section titled “Sharing a dashboard”You can share a link to any dashboard with a colleague who also has access to LineInterpreter:
- Open the dashboard you want to share.
- Copy the URL from your browser’s address bar.
- Share the URL directly — the recipient will be taken to the same view when they open the link (they must be logged in).
